- Connect the CS-8 to your iPhone/iPad with a USB-C to USB-C data cable (camera should be powered/charged).
- Open the Photos app, then tap Import (it appears when the camera/storage is detected).
- If you don’t see “Import”: re-plug the cable, make sure it’s a data-capable USB-C cable (not charge-only), and confirm the CS-8 is on/has enough battery.
- Lightning iPhone/iPad requires the use of an adapter (sold seperatly).
- Tap Import All, or select the videos you want and tap Import Selected.
- Keep the CS-8 connected until the import finishes. A pinwheel will be displayed on each video indicating they are transferring.
- When import completes a pop up will prompt to choose Delete (to free space on the CS-8) or Keep (leave videos on the CS-8).
- Note: If delete is chosen, only the selected imported videos will be removed from the CS-8. Videos will be removed from the CS-8 and be only on your iPhone/iPad.
- Your videos will now be in the Photos app (typically in Recents / Imports).
Note: Always use the Photos app to manage CS-8 files. Using the Files app can create temporary/cached files that may take up space on the CS-8 and require manual cleanup on the camera’s storage card.
